Help for anxiety, depression, shame, relationships, identity, loss
and the challenges of creating a truly meaningful life
I work with adults of all ages in a highly attuned, caring, and deeply respectful way. I've helped many people overcome painful anxiety, shame, depression, relationship difficulties, job stress, loss, and the challenges of creating a truly meaningful life. As a fully licensed clinical social worker, I bring an effective blend of deep empathy, understanding, extensive training and over a decade of experience.
I enjoy working with people from all backgrounds and lifestyles, and will tailor my approach to your needs. I also work with couples in traditional and non-traditional relationships. I enjoy helping couples from different backgrounds overcome differences in styles and expectations. Another focus of my practice is on expatriates, adult third culture kids (TCKs), and international students.
I earned my graduate degree and completed my clinical training at the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor. I participate in ongoing training in evidence-based approaches including Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) and Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT). If you'd like to talk more about your unique situation and how I can help, consider calling me at 202.256.4357.
